About Angel

Angel, a singer/songwriter from London, has been writing and recording material for her album “Angel’s vibe” for the last couple of years. Angel has been around the world working with different musicians and producers to achieve a mix of eclectic sounds and vibes! From pop, to motown, to soul, and even reggaeton, Angel has found and recorded it all!

Theatre played a big part in Angel’s education. She had work experience with the legendary Peter O’ Toole aged 14, got an A* in drama aged 16, then won a place at Redroofs theatre school – two year’s early! This grounding had Angel performing musical theatre at the London Palladium by age 20. Angel’s experiences taught her she wanted to move into music making. While she appreciated the theatre’s experience, the recording studio and the live club scene beckoned.

As well as recording, Angel has been performing live for the last 7 years. It’s this live scene that got Angel addicted to the buzz of the live performance and why she is currently recording tracks that are appreciated by a live audience.

Angel describes her sound as ‘nothing that’s out there at the moment’. Her influences are as varied as her music, including James Brown, Michael Jackson, Dusty Springfield and Amy Winehouse. A great fan of Jackson, the first album she bought was Michael Jackson’s ‘Off The Wall’!

Angel has already seen national airplay – her previous work saw her collaborate with Atlantic Records artist ‘DG Yola’, and their track ‘You and Me’ received airplay on Choice FM and Tim Westwood’s Radio 1 show.
